Meeting Grandpa Lewis
My Dad and his girlfriend, Susan, came to Colorado to meet Dash. Dash felt instantly comfortable with his Grandpa and fell right asleep in his arms as soon as he picked him up.

A Crabby Thanksgiving
09 January 2009
The three of us headed to the Oregon Coast to spend some time with my mom for Thanksgiving. We LOVE visiting her in her cute, yellow cottage on the beach. She lives just a few steps from the water, separated by the beach by beautiful, green trees. It's one of our favorite spots in the whole world... and Dash LOVES his Grandma Lewis more than just about anyone.
Downtown Florence, ORMy mom's neighbor and friend, Steve, offered to take us crabbing with him! So... the day after Thanksgiving we headed out to Waldport Bay for a day on the water. It was SO much fun.
Dash spent the day with Grandma and then came down to Steve's to watch us clean the crabs.
This little guy took a bite out of Jake's hand...
...and this was Jake's revenge.
Cooking our catch.
Somehow this one snuck home on the boat! Dash volunteered his stroller to help him return to sea. (We now break from our story to show this crab's journey back home.)posted by Wendy at 11:24 PM 2 comments
Splish Splash Dash
06 November 2008
This is one of our favorite parts of the day so we wanted to share it with all of you. Dash LOVES the water, he's not afraid at all. He loves splashing around and kicking his legs and getting all nice and clean! He usually passes out for a long nap after his bath.
We had his 2 month check up today and on our way we passed a cute building that said Safe Splash so we stopped by to check it out and it's a private swim lesson facility with 2 salt water pools. They start lessons with babies that are 6 months so we're definitely going to take him in March to learn how to do the backstroke and maybe the butterfly. He'll be our little baby Michael Phelps...
Anyway, let's get to the pictures...

And after all the bath-time fun, there's always what Jake calls "The After-Bath".. a.k.a. nap time.
